23 Williamson is here to help provide a platform to help the citizens of Williamson County with issues regarding property rights, land use rights, and zoning ordinances. As we all know legal aid and consultations can be costly. Citizens should not lose or give up their rights just because they cannot afford or know how to fight back. That is why all the donations will go towards helping the citizens of Williamson County with fees that occur when dealing with the legal system such as legal aid fees, consultations fees and so much more. 23 Williamson is a non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible up to the extent that the law allows.
Save property rights for landowners in rural unincorporated Williamson County that are the owner's rights.
Please help with a donation to build awareness and save the property rights of many landowners that are still not aware of the changes.
Some landowners need our Finacle help to fight the corruption of the local government.
1. Discovered secret meetings.
2. Triune Citizens Advisory Board Put together by commissioners and county staff! 23 +or- commercial property owners were not invited or made aware of any board meetings.
3. 23 commercial property owners were not aware of a Triune Special Area Plan with the citizen's board or when it started. Never received notice.
4. Commissioners on the Triune citizens advisory board could not communicate to other property owners in their Dist.5 it would be a conflict of interest. (quote from Beth Lathors Dist.5 and Tommy Little).
5. Figured out that three more special area plans were completed Grass Land, Leipers Fork, College Grove, and Triune being the last that completed
the County-Wide Zoning and ordinances change to go in effect at the commission meeting. Without any notice of the meeting to property owners.
Nov .9th 2020 commission meeting. Zoom Meeting during the highest spike in COVID. Commission stayed at home we would have to drive to the county building and share a computer. In the meeting on youtube. the meeting was scripted forcing 6 agendas to pass that the people were not aware of. Merging meetings together.
6. Realized the changes affected many landowners by downzoning. From 1 house per acre to 1 house on 5 acres.
7. Commissioner and county staff handpicked citizen boards with no notice to the affected property owners.
8. Commercial Property with 2040 plan stops growth. With the zoning and ordinance change, The property can not get approved to do business or sell. If you retire sell your light industrial business and property. The new owner cant continue in the current business in the current location with new zoning and ordinance change.
9. Williamson County never provided an impact study for thousands of acres affected.
10. Abuse of power from staff level, elected officials, and mayor. To force a premeditated zoning plan on the people with a method to manipulate the people by not notifying the proper location. Over 500 mail-out notices to landowners only had a street name no number.
11. Property tax with zoning change increased in commercial areas by as much as 300%
.
